The Tokyo Metropolitan Government's X-HUB TOKYO project is a project aiming at supporting the global activities of Tokyo's startups and revitalizing the economy in Tokyo through exchanges with overseas startups that are active globally .
At the Kickoff Event 2020, we will introduce the whole project, share global information of ecosystems in the US, Europe and Asia, and also hold keynote speech on overseas expansion strategies for startups based on With/After Corona.
We are looking forward to welcoming not only startups but also supporters and support organizations.

Serial entrepreneur who has started four companies in Japan and one in Silicon Valley.The author of the bestselling books Kigyo No Kagaku: Startup Science” Has also served as a partner of a venture capital in Silicon Valley from 2014 to 2017 Currently, the CSO of Basic Corporation, one of Japan’s largest web marketing companies, and CEO of Unicorn Farm, a company that supports startup management and innovation for large companies.

Tak worked as a systems engineer for Electronic Data Systems (an HP company) during which he participated in founding a venture company Nibun Vision with the University of Southern California in 2002. He later became president of the Japanese subsidiary that was acquired by Google and exited. Tak then established J-Magic in October of the same year that developed mobile-specific services using image analysis technology. The company exited in 2009 after which Tak joined Mixi where he served as the CEO of Mixi America. Tak founded Scrum Ventures in 2013. He holds a Master’s degree in Nano Science from Waseda University.

Born in Hokkaido, Japan in 1982. Graduated from the Department of Physics and Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, and the graduate school of the same university. While in the graduate school, teached physics as a part-time teacher at Kaisei High School for two years. After graduation, worked for a human resource consulting company before establishing Life is Tech, Inc. in July, 2010. Launched a camp/school named “Life is Tech!,” which provides knowledge and skills of programming and IT to middle and high school students based on the Silicon Valley IT Education method. The number of participants reached to 40,000 in total. Launched a variety of projects such as “IT Draft Conference” and “Life is Tech! In 2014, the company won the first “Google RISE Awards” in East Asia, which are given to organizations that contribute to the spread of computer science and ICT education.

After working as a chef at a Japanese restaurant, opened a franchised Mos Burger in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture at the age of 30.In 1995, at the age of 38, while the business was on track, suffered from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and established Kizuna Japan Co.1999 Started developing of the first ASP-type HR, attendance, and payroll system in Japan.2002 Received the Software Award and supplied OEM to Sony and Oki Electric.2008 Launched the world’s first payroll service on a daily basis.2015 Established Doreming Co., Ltd. in Fukuoka City.2017 Established Doreming ASIA Pte Ltd. in Singapore.

With knowledge of image analysis and financial engineering, worked at Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. as a researcher in the financial field such as market risk management and algorithmic trading. After joining GREE, Inc., engaged in business strategy, business management, new business launching, and finance and accounting in the United States.Also, worked as the head of the corporate planning office of an AI start-up company and the launch of a joint start-up company in Singapore, before establishing Vacan, Inc.He is a certified member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
