Tokushi Nakashima is a serial entrepreneur who has founded three startups.
When Nakashima started up his second company in the Philippines, he realized that many people were unable to obtain loans to buy cars. In order to solve this situation, he established Global Mobility Service Inc. in 2013, providing FinTech services to those in need around the world. GMS has developed an innovative business model for financial inclusion with its goal to raise the quality of people’s lives and create a sustainable society.
Mr. Junichi OKAMURA Trigence Semocinductor, Inc., Executive Vice President and Founder
One of three Founders who were colleagues in Toshiba Semiconductor and founded Trigence Semocinductor in 2006. Our mission is launching Japanese unique technology worldwide, focusing the patents and partnerships with overseas large enterprises. In 2009, started the prototype LSI development with JST government grant money, then got the first seed money from the capital division of INTEL in the USA in 2012. In 2014 series A, series B in 2015, and series C in 2017, we have been made three fund rise rounds and developed new-generation LSI for PC audio space eventually met hard turbulence of the USA vs China trade war and failed series D fund rising in 2019. After the huge restructuring of the company, the primary company function was pivoted into software IP development and sales to this day.
Ms. Fumiko Kato WAmazing,Inc. CEO
Upon graduating from SFC Keio University, Fumiko Katō joined Recruit Holding Inc., where she worked on developing new businesses, including Jalan.net and Hot Pepper Gourmet. After transferring to the Jalan Research Center, she also established the “Yukimaji! 19” project, which encouraged skiing and snowboarding targeted at the youth market with the use of AI big data analysis on tourism.
In July 2016, Fumiko founded WAmazing, Inc. to provide a tourism platform for international visitors to Japan. The service offers free 500MB SIM cards at major airports in Japan and supports reservation arrangements for accommodations, leisure facilities, and more for visitors staying in Japan.
