OUTBOUND
PROGRAM

The OUTBOUND PROGRAM supports Tokyo-based start-up companies in their journey of global expansion in an aim to maintain the city’s global competitiveness.
Consisting of six courses – European conference, Shenzhen, Germany, Singapore, New York and Silicon Valley – we have partnered with global accelerators across the world with expertise in local ecosystems of the regions mentioned. In cooperation with global accelerators, this program will provide Tokyo-based start-up companies with abundant opportunities to connect with various global business partners and investigators through bootcamps and mentoring sessions.

European Conference Course

  2. Is a company that has been in business for less than 10 years, if incorporated.(For Web Summit-related programs only, the company must be less than 10 years old and have raised less than USD 10 million in funding.)

This course aims to support start-ups in fields such as carbon neutrality, medical/bio/healthcare, mobility and industrial IoT in expansion into the Chinese market through Shenzhen, realization of ideas and technology by using local supply chains, as well as in fundraising.

Not only that, retainment of partners specializing in the fields of the selected participants is planned for the year of 2021.
This course is tailored to start-ups aiming to expand into the German market in Germany-led fields including smartcities, energy, mobility and IoT, through the online match-making of German companies focused on open innovation.
